Job Posting | Staff Nurse II – Radiation Oncology

This is a Staff Nurse II position working with the Radiation Oncology team, providing comprehensive quality care for adult and geriatric patients seen for consultation, radiation treatment, and follow-up management.

Below is a partial list of essential job functions:

• Patient education, symptom management, weekly physical assessment, and assessment for referral to social services and nutritional counseling
• Respond and triage phone calls
• Assist physicians with physical examinations and procedures, and monitorpatients

Pay Range is $87,300 to $90,000 (DOE)

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
• Current RN License in California
• 2-3 years nursing experience - preferably with oncology patients
• BLS certificate required - OCN certificate preferre
• Strong communication skills with patients and staff
