Job Posting | Registered Nurse - Nurse Educator

Nurse Educator:
The selected RN will work 3 eight hour shifts per week training surgical nurses and conducting various training meetings. The Nurse Educator role requires leadership, clinical expertise, consultation, education and research for a defined population. The Nurse Educator will be in constant collaboration with the medical and nursing staffs in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of the clinical management program.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Design and implement educational programs
• Write policy and procedures
• Assure compliance with regulations and standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental services
• Assume leadership role with interdisciplinary team

PAY RANGE: $42.00/hr - $52.50/hr

• Current California RN License
• Masters Degree in Nursing with a specialty in critical care
• National Certification through ANCC
• BSN Degree
• 1 year experience developing educational programs such as health maintenance, health promotion and disease prevention
• Membership in AORN
• Certifications: CEN and ACLS
• 5 years of nursing experience
• 3 years of recent nursing experience in critical care
