Job Posting | Director of Marketing

Solvere is actively recruiting a Director of Marketing for a position in the San Fernando Valley (CA).

This position is ideally suited for a marketing or product manager of medical products used in surgery (disposables or insertables). Previous experience networking and selling within operating rooms is essential. The director has responsibility for all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities. This individual will establish marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives and evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data and implement marketing plan changes as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, propose and administer marketing budget
• Develop, plan and participate in local and national networking events and trade shows
• Develop and maintain a co-op preferred customer program
• Analyze and report the success/effectiveness of targeted advertising campaigns, special event/promotions, and preferred customer programs to support sales and revenue objectives of the Company
• Monitors competitive products and marketing activities
• Establishes and maintains relationships within the medical industry
• Conducts marketing surveys on current and new product concepts, and provides feedback for future product development

PAY RANGE: $80,000 to $90,000 Depending on experience

REQUIREMENTS:

• MBA degree with an emphasis in Marketing
• 3 to 5 years experience as a product manager in the healthcare industry 
• Minimum of 3 years experience in product lifecycle management, forecasting, pricing and competitive benchmarking 
• Experience managing a new product launch is highly preferred
• Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies and meeting or exceeding organizational objectives
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
• Ability to lead and motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
• Willingness and ability to travel nationally
