Solvere is in the process of recruiting a Physician MD for a full time position near Grants, NM. This Physician will provide professional medical direction, oversight and direct patient care for the facility and must have experience treating chronic patients for diabetes, hypertension, HIV and infectious diseases. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Provide a variety of professional medical services including administering examinations, diagnosing medical and other problems, prescribing medications and providing treatment and follow-up care Provide direction in leadership for the medical program Monitor and review operations and standards of care Participate in treatment team meetings where individual health plans are devised, reviewed and altered Perform minor surgery if necessary Assist in the formulation of facility policy Closely monitor all potential catastrophic illnesses Prepare and maintain a variety of standard narrative, statistical, summary and/or operational records, reports and logs Maintain absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records Evaluate and recommend methods of improving operational efficiency and cost effectiveness of health-related services Facilitate, where applicable, NCCHC/ACA/JCAHO accreditation of the medical program by providing the required level of organizational efficiency and approved, appropriate medical services Review, process and respond (via corporate counsel) to lawsuits; attend court hearings, when necessary; conduct research of charts; review status of patients with serious health problems for completion of all necessary intervention and treatment
