| Job Description: | RN Telephonic Case Managers DESCRIPTION Solvere has exciting opportunities for Registered Nurses with experience as Telephonic Case Managers handling Workers Comp Cases. We have positions available in Roseville, Oakland and San Diego. In this position you will link patients, protocols and providers, while advocating for the patient, to assure the best possible outcome by coordinating and guiding treatment, recovery and return to work. To be successful in this position, you will need to be a self starter, well organized and the ability to work independently. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS · Contact medical provider and injured parties on claims involving medical treatment or disability, for workers compensation cases, to coordinate appropriate medical care · Prepare a strategy for medical treatment, ongoing evaluation, recovery and return to work (within established protocols) · Suggest cost effective treatment alternatives when appropriate · Assist claim handler by providing medical information and records, status of disability and documentation · Contact employer to discuss the job duties and work out the return to full or part time work · Document all contacts and outcomes
